WHO WANTS TO PLAY PHYSICALITY?

"Me!"
You raised your spirit hand.

There would be rules, you were warned.
Many, many,
oh, so many, many rules.

"Me, me!"
Your spirit hand waved wildly.

And everyone's spirit eyes could see you weren't the cautious type.
You would live and learn by doing, not by thinking through.

All right, then.
You were warned.

No floating.
No soaking up energy from the cosmos.
No thought projecting.
No remembering who you are.

You may want to ask about that last one.

First, you have to buiId a "body."
No floating.
You will move by making "steps" with "feet."

No soaking up energy from the cosmos.
You will sustain your physicality energy by "biting" and "swallowing" matter.
You might also be "bitten" and "swallowed" by another "body."

No thought projecting.
You will communicate by forming "words" with a "mouth" and pushing them out.
You will use your "ears" to "hear" the "words" that other people "say."

No floating.
No soaking up energy from the cosmos.
No thought projecting.
No remembering Unity.
No remembering who you are.

Did you forget to ask about that last one?

You will have to learn to "respirate" and "urinate" and "cogitate."
You will be "feeling," you will be "doing."
You will "love," and "enjoy," and you will "fear."

What's the point of this game?
You'll ask yourself that question
many, many,
oh, so many times.
But you'll never be sure of the answer.
because--remember? No remembering.

And you won't be the only one
in your pretend world.
Your friends will be there, too.
But you won't recognize them,
because--remember? No remembering.

You may want to quit the game
before your time is up,
but you won't know how,
because--remember? No remembering.

You may want to stay in the game forever,
but you won't know why,
because--remember? No remembering

All set?
Forget!

DO YOU THINK THOUGHTS ARE THINGS?

Do you think thoughts are things?

Mine are an unruly bunch,
always jostling for position in my head.
They give me headaches.

And they don't just stay inside my head.
They bounce along beside me as I take my daily walk,
bumping into other thoughts whenever I pass someone.

Do we pass thoughts around like viruses?

And how did some of them get SO BIG?
So big that they have their own names.
Money, Marriage, Starbucks, School,
the Stock Market and all cults.

Where two or three thinkers sit,
shared thoughtforms coalesce.

Now, how do you feel about feelings?
